BUILDING ON WSBK-PROVEN PERFORMANCE
ENGINE
COOLING
Based on feedback from Kawasaki's WSBK race machine, the air-cooled oil cooler is a design often seen on high- performance models. Rather than routing coolant from the radiator to the oil cooler and back to the engine, it has an independent circuit. Oil is routed from the left lower crankcase to the oil cooler, where it is cooled, then returned on the right side. The increased cooling performance contributes to engine performance at all rpm.
CHASSIS
SUSPENSION
BRAKES
Dual high-spec Brembo M50 monobloc calipers gripping large ø330 mm discs, and a specially prepared radial-pump master cylinder deliver next-level braking performance.

STYLED FOR AERODYNAMICS
A prime example of form following function, the Ninja ZX-10R's styling package was designed with aerodynamic performance firmly in mind. The sleek, racy looks offer significantly improved drag resistance, increased downforce (thanks to an aerodynamically sculpted front cowl with integrated winglets), and better wind protection (care of a taller windshield).
BODYWORK
The aerodynamic racer-inspired front cowl, highlighted by compact LED headlights, new Ram Air intake and a taller windshield, is the "face" of the Ninja ZX-10R's next-generation Ninja styling.

WINGLETS
Winglets built into the upper cowl generate downforce that helps keep the front wheel on the ground during strong acceleration.

ERGONOMICS
RIVER MARK
In recognition of its achievement in the Superbike World Championship, special permission to use the River Mark on the Ninja ZX-10R was granted. This is its first use on a non-supercharged mass-production model.

TECHNOLOGY TO HELP RIDERS EXPLORE THE LIMIT
Powered by Kawasaki's proprietary dynamic modelling program and enhanced with input from a Bosch IMU, the Ninja ZX-10R's cutting-edge electronics contribute to the riding excitement of piloting a high-performance supersport machine.
KCMF (KAWASAKI CORNERING MANAGEMENT FUNCTION)
Using the latest evolution of this advanced modelling software and feedback from a compact IMU (Inertial Measurement Unit), KCMF monitors engine and chassis parameters throughout the corner - from entry, through the apex, to corner exit - modulating brake force and engine power to facilitate smooth transition from acceleration to braking and back again, and to assist riders in holding their intended line through the corner.
Image shows motorcycle prepared for track use (not available for delivery in this form). Road motorcycle includes indicators, rear view mirrors and number plate. Non-current colour shown.
S-KTRC (SPORT-KAWASAKI TRACTION CONTROL)
KLCM (KAWASAKI LAUNCH CONTROL MODE)
KIBS
KIBS, Kawasaki's supersport-grade brake management system, uses high-precision control to regulate brake pressure during sport riding.
KAWASAKI ENGINE BRAKE CONTROL
KQS (KAWASAKI QUICK SHIFTER)
Dual-direction KQS system allows both clutchless upshifts and downshifts, facilitating circuit riding.

ENHANCED STREET-RIDING EXPERIENCE
Features like integrated Riding Modes, Electronic Cruise Control and TFT instrumentation with smartphone connectivity add to street-riding enjoyment.

INTEGRATED RIDING MODES
ELECTRONIC CRUISE CONTROL
Kawasaki's cruise control system allows a desired speed to be maintained with the simple press of a button. Once activated, the rider does not have to constantly apply the throttle. This reduces stress on the right hand when traveling long distances, enabling relaxed cruising and contributing to a high level of riding comfort.
TFT INSTRUMENTATION
SMARTPHONE CONNECTIVITY
A Bluetooth chip built into the instrument panel enables riders to connect to their motorcycle wirelessly. Using the smartphone application "RIDEOLOGY THE APP*," a number of instrument functions can be accessed, contributing to an enhanced motorcycling experience.
*RIDEOLOGY THE APP is not intended for use during vehicle operation. Only use RIDEOLOGY THE APP when the vehicle is not being operated and it is safe to do so.
STEERING DAMPER
Unlike a mechanical steering damper - in which the settings, once fixed, must cover all riding conditions and speeds - the damping characteristics are changed electronically according to vehicle speed, and the degree of acceleration or deceleration.
